may day
three sure signs of spring:
the rabbits have decapitated all my tulips.
the black, fossilized snow mountain that was mounded up in the mall parking lot has finally melted.
there is a layer of sediment in the tub after i bathe my children.
i heart spring.

face.
book.
overheard in the playroom
as the children cast their "fishing rods" (string tied to batons):
me: "ladies, try not to bash each other in the head."
child: "why?"
blah, blah, blah

crabby old lady is crabby about...
things i never thought i'd need to say, installmen...
this is why i'm still trying to get the beds made ...
make way for octuplets
i am easily amused
the wicked witch of the upper midwest
no. no, no, no. and no.
the four seasons
"i have hay in my pants!"
o blessed art thou, mars incorporated
bad performance art
another one for the baby book
another sign of the end times
the ill-logic of motherhood

i SAID
[sound of scream here]
beeyatch
chicks rule and boys drool
crabby old lady
crash bang splat
food and drink
for real?
funny monkeys
i had a brain somewhere
kill the groundhog
love and marriage
mommy madness
my carcass
oopsie
peanut patrol
scandihoovians
things that really matter
trifles and frippery
when it started to begin
